Bowling Green has over 30 businesses owned and operated by refugees and immigrants. Most have started their businesses on their own with their own savings or family savings. Some neighborhoods have taken on new life as a result of these businesses. The International Center advises and refers where needed. We can help you with: - Ideas: We consult with those interested in starting a small business. We subscribe to organizations who have ideas and know the business outlook. We refer our clients to experts in their field. Depending on the situation we refer to Small Business Administration, SCORE, and AARP.
- Taxes and Licenses: We assist with taxes and licenses and have volunteers who will assist with compliance with regulations.
- Business Plan Assistance: We make referrals to consultants or websites that assist with business plans.
